Before joining Halcyon, Erin served as a JET Program Assistant Language Teacher in Tokyo, Japan where she co-taught high school English and engaged in traditional Omotesenke (tea ceremony) and Ikebana (flower arrangement) culture clubs. She holds an MFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing with a background in studio art and exhibitions. Erin has taught Art History, Japanese language and jewelry workshops through college and community education programs. 

An avid lover of architecture and adventure, Erin enjoys exploring new places seeking inspiration for her jewelry designs when she is not testing out new Japanese and Korean recipes.
