Sam (she/her) believes immeasurably in the powers of the arts and creativity to foster social responsibility. As an Advancement Associate at Halcyon, she works within the development department to reinforce Halcyon’s dedication to its wonderful and growing community of fellows and supporters. She works closely with all of Halcyon’s programs to ensure that they are supported and valued.

Sam is a creative with a background in community outreach, event programming and the arts. She has worked on a number of performances abroad and in the US and has collaborated with several non-profits in her gender-violence prevention work over the past six years. Sam graduated with highest distinction from Duke University with degrees in Psychology and Theater.

Outside of work Sam spends much of her time writing, playing guitar, and traveling.
