Allister Chang co-founded Fabric Health to improve the health and well-being of busy families. Fabric Health embeds its products and services in laundromats, turning a weekly chore into a meaningful time to get, understand, and use benefits. From 2014-2019, Allister was the Executive Director of Libraries Without Borders. He has been a visiting researcher at UNESCO’s Institute for Lifelong Learning and at the Global Public Policy Institute. Allister was on the International Literacy Association’s 30 Under 30 List in 2019 and is a member of the advisory board for the Library of Congress Literacy Awards. He studied public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he was elected President of Student Government, and studied history at Tufts University and at Oxford University. Allister was elected as the Ward 2 Representative on the D.C. State Board of Election in November 2020.
