Anna Auerbach is the co-founder and co-CEO of Werk, a startup championing flexibility as the future of work. Auerbach is a former McKinsey consultant and social impact COO, and a Brandeis University and Harvard Business School grad who learned her first lesson in entrepreneurship when she moved to the U.S. as a refugee at age 6 – knowing just one word of English. Anna is a strategic thinker who loves a good data analysis session. She lives in New York City with her husband Phillip and their son Asher.
Werk enables the mass customization of the work day through their proprietary flex taxonomy, The Flexiverse. The Flexiverse standardizes flexibility for the first time and powers our suite of flexibility solutions: our enterprise flexibility assessment tool, our enterprise e-learning certification program, and our job board with pre-negotiated flexibility. Flexibility is a top need for everyone – but can disproportionately help women stay in the workforce and reach the C suite. Werk has raised $4M to date, and has been featured across a variety of media including CNBC, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Fast Company, Glamour and more.
