Craig is a trusted business advisor, angel investor, and entrepreneur focused on value realization and maximization. He has over 25 years of experience in merger and acquisition advisory, business strategy, and business valuation both domestically and internationally. His client base ranges from start-up to publicly traded companies. He has proven experience managing remote teams performing complex analyses for evaluation of strategic alternatives, transaction planning, and general management planning. He is a founding member of PinOak Capital, a Mid-Atlantic region private equity and angel investor fund.
PinOak invests in, and works directly with, company management to commercialize, market, and expand technology and optimize operations. Craig was a co-founder of Trans-Elect, the first independent owner of electric transmission assets in the US. Trans-Elect acquired the former transmission assets of Consumers Energy and entered into an international consortium that operated the former transmission assets of Canadian power company TransAlta. The company was involved in several expansion projects in congested areas of the US grid, including expansion of Path 15 in California.
