Danai Brooks is the owner and CEO of Komline-Sanderson Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing equipment for the water, renewable energy, and other sustainable industries. Prior to Komline-Sanderson, Mr. Brooks led the successful turnaround and sale of Dyadic, a public industrial biotechnology company, to DuPont. Mr. Brooks began his career as an investment banker in J.P. Morgan’s M&A Group, where he led mergers and acquisitions in excess of $40 billion, and as an engineer at Ford and Dell.
In addition to his work at Komline-Sanderson, Mr. Brooks is the founder and Managing Partner of Glen Echo Capital, a firm that invests in middle market industrial and technology companies.
Mr. Brooks holds a BS and Master of Engineering from Cornell University, Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and twin boys.
