As the Director of the United Nations Foundation’s Global Entrepreneurs Council, Devon Kuehne manages a strategic advisory council of public and private sector leaders committed to helping the United Nations reach new audiences and foster innovative ideas in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. Ms. Kuehne is the primary relationship manager for 26 current and Emeritus GEC members, working with them to bring new ideas, innovation, perspective and strategy to the UN Foundation’s work.

In her previous role at the Foundation, Ms. Kuehne planned, managed and executed all UN Foundation international program visits to strengthen public-private partnerships, mobilize resources and to build long-term relations with UN agencies. She represented the UN Foundation internationally and enhanced relations with a number of partners including other NGOs, UN agencies, local governments and international agencies of the U.S. government.

Prior to joining the UN Foundation, Ms. Kuehne spent seven years with the U.S. Department of Defense working at both the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). She conducted in-depth analysis on national intelligence priorities, developed policy and engagement strategies and cultivated relations with representatives of the diplomatic community to enhance the agency’s ability to defend the country’s national security interests.

Ms. Kuehne has an M.A. in Public Communication from American University and a B.A. in International Relations and a B.A. in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs from Miami University of Ohio. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband and daughter and loves to explore, cook, run and travel.
