Mohamed Abdelgawad is an entrepreneur and the CEO of Cupmena with over nine years of experience in business management and auditing. Mohamed launched Cupmena with his co-founding team to address the issue of coffee waste in the MENA region. Prior to Cupmena he co-founded a solar panel startup in Egypt. Mohamed is a person of multiple interests and has a love for hiking, photography, writing and podcasts. In addition to being an entrepreneur, he is a UNESCO prize recipient in photography and has published several novels and articles. He is an unabashed coffeeholic.
