This new, one-night-only production directed by Septime Webre features singers from the Wolf Trap Opera and dancers from D.C.’s CityDance in a gothic tale based on the masterwork by Edgar Allan Poe and composed by modern master Philip Glass.

Roderick Usher, the reclusive heir to the Usher fortune, resides with his ill twin sister in their decaying ancestral home. When Roderick’s old friend visits, relationships are tested and secrets are unearthed.

This menacing house seems to have a mind of its own…do you dare to enter?
