Krista is a senior executive & proven entrepreneur who accelerates growth for non-profit and commercial ventures. A proven leader, she exited her first company, Cambridge Translation Resources, in 1998, to a British firm backed by Boston venture capital, Great Hill Partners. She then served as key advisor for the restructuring & scale of Green Mountain Logic, a Vermont-based clinical workflow solutions company, which exited to PhaseForward of Boston, and was subsequently purchased by Oracle. She was the second female member of North Country Angels, an angel group run by the Tuck School of Business, which often syndicated deals with NYC and Boston.
In 2010, Ms. Conley launched Vtrim Online Solutions, commercializing UVM and NIH research in digital health and obesity management. Vtrim received $8 million in NIH funding, with 5 studies proving efficacy. Ms. Conley raised $1.3million in 6 months in early stage capital – Vtrim went on to receive both a Top Ten Innovation award and recognition from the National Cancer Institute as a Research-Tested Intervention Program. In San Francisco, she has worked for Omada Health, as Senior Director for East Coast Payers, working closely to educate and engage payers on the ROI of an online DPP program.
Ms. Conley is a recognized innovator, with sophisticated business development skills and an ability to work across all major stakeholders: investors, C-Suite, employers, payers, partners and more. In her most recent position, she grew the non-profit membership by 40% in 12 months and worked closely with the Board which included the CEOs of AAP, AAFP, ACOG, Black Women’s Health Imperative, and more.
In addition to her entrepreneurial experience, Ms. Conley has worked in domestic and international government, first with Senator Edward M. Kennedy on his Labor and Human Resources Committee on HIV and AIDS research, as well as with the Hong Kong Government and Governor William Weld, negotiating their first bilateral trade and investment deal with a U.S. State. She graduated from Middlebury College, with a degree in History and Mandarin Chinese. Ms. Conley, formerly based in Boston, currently lives in Arlington VA, where she manages and directs her two sons, James and Nicholas.
