Mattias Lightstone is the Co-Founder and COO of Win-Win Homesharing. Mattias is passionate about how technology can make traditionally expensive systems less expensive and more accessible. He studied Computer Engineering at Carleton University and uses his background in web development, machine learning, and automation to help Win-Win Homesharing develop scalable systems technically and operationally. He has used his proficiencies previously to tackle smaller challenges by applying machine learning to solve parking frustrations and winning a machine learning poker bot competition. Mattias now uses his talents to solve bigger problems like senior isolation.

Venture: Win-Win Homesharing pairs those in need of affordable housing with senior citizens who have extra bedrooms in their homes. In exchange for a student-friendly price; compatible, vetted housemates take care of chores, like cooking daily meals or taking out the trash. Win-Win Homesharing makes it possible for seniors to earn a new income and enjoy the companionship of a helpful housemate to live with while tackling senior isolation and the student housing crisis at once.
