Max Duckworth is the Co-Founder of MaSa Partners, a social impact venture that provides capital and advisory services to early-stage companies seeking to shape a better future. MaSa Partners has invested in start-ups in several sectors, including agriculture, renewable energy, and healthcare. Max was previously a senior executive at Constellation Energy in Baltimore, MD — where he co-ran the firm’s commodities business — and has also worked in the climate and environmental policy arena. He serves on the board of several privately-held companies, and also serves as Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Board of the US Fund for UNICEF. He and his wife live in Chevy Chase, MD, and he is a long-suffering Liverpool FC and Washington Redskins fan.
