Miranda Phua

Miranda Phua is the Co-Founder and CEO of ZigWay. She has over a decade of experience across entrepreneurship and finance globally and believes in poverty alleviation by applying entrepreneurial principles.  Prior to ZigWay, Miranda co-founded CityTaps, an IoT social enterprise that helped people prepay for water via mobile money.  She also led the Asian investment team at BlueOrchard Finance, an impact investor focusing on microfinance and worked as a Finance Advisor at United Nations Development Programme structured debt transactions for institutional clients at ANZ.  Miranda was selected for Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp class and holds a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
