Dr. Paul Sullivan is a professor of economics at the National Defense University, an adjunct professor of security studies at Georgetown University, a senior international fellow at the National Council of US-Arab Relations, and an adjunct senior fellow for future global resource threats at the Federation of American Scientists. He is internationally recognized as an expert on energy and water security, US-Arab relations, and the politics and economics of the Middle East and North Africa inter alia. He obtained his Ph.D. from Yale University with highest honors and graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University. He is a graduate of the Seminar XXI Program at MIT (2006).
