By The People x Monochrome Virtual Art Fair

Halcyon has once again partnered with Monochrome Collective for a virtual art fair exhibition featuring some of the DMV's most talented and exciting emerging artists. The By The People x Monochrome Collective Art Fair highlights the artistic richness and diversity of our community of working artists and cultivates a culture of support for practicing artists and locally-focused art collecting. We're especially proud to continue this partnership in light of the profound impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on working artists.

This year's art fair will include over 100 artists representing all eight D.C. wards, Maryland, and Virginia. To highlight these amazing creatives, take a peek behind the scenes of their artistic practices during our special programming as you browse the artworks on view in the virtual exhibition space and choose a piece (or two) to take home. The site will be open to the public throughout the exhibition, but by registering for this event you will receive a link in your inbox to the website when the 'doors' open at noon on June 26, 2020, as well as updates on virtual programming like artist talks and studio visits.

Special Programming:

  • Join us for Artist Talks with some of our presenting artists on 6/29, 6/30, 7/2, 7/3, 7/6, 7/8 and 7/10, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT via Instagram Live, and don't forget to follow us to stay up to date on all things art fair!
  • Curator Office Hours with Nina O'Neil will be Monday-Thursday, 2:00-3:00pm EDT, during which she'll be available to chat on the art fair exhibition website.
  • Curator Nina O'Neill will also be offering private consultations throughout the art fair for those interested. To learn more and schedule your consultation, reach Nina on her website or on Instagram:
  • We also have a couple events that will take place on Zoom, and therefore require a separate registration:
