Ryan Soscia is the Founder & CEO of JDoe and is an entrepreneur who’s passionate about building technology for social good. Before studying Computer Science with Bioinformatics Specialization & Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego he attended Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC and had a history building apps.
Ryan worked as a Special Projects Manager for various high tech venture-backed entities including that which built the app for MGM Resorts and 100s of their casinos and restaurants in Las Vegas. Ryan is experienced with Business Development & Investor Relations and has raised $2M for new VC funds last year.
His interests include the intersection of business, law, and computer science as well as helping various budding entrepreneurs across the 1517 Fund and Next Gen Summit communities. In his free time, he likes to sail, programmatically explore new investment opportunities, and speak with new entrepreneurs who are changing the world.
