Wesley and his cofounders are 2nd generation Americans who have had to help their family members fill out forms and navigate the healthcare system. It was this personal problem, faced by many, that birthed the technology for and philosophy behind HealthOpX. HealthOpX is currently working in Flint, MI, to improve accessibility and quality care outcomes for the Latinx population.

Before launching this venture, Wesley co-founded a medical tourism software startup and gained experience right out of college pitching to hospitals outside the U.S. The startup helped patients identify world-class specialty health facilities worldwide for surgeries and specialty care that would be extremely costly in the U.S. even with insurance. Since then, Wesley has been through two startup accelerator programs and has grown his experience as a founder in the healthcare space. When not working, Wesley loves basketball and mentoring other cofounders.
